This course focuses on the human side of business: how you talk to customers, handle complaints and present your products every day. It is especially useful for shop workers, salons, barbers, tailors, restaurants, phone dealers and other customer-facing roles.

You start by understanding the customer’s journey: how people notice your business, decide to enter, choose what to buy and decide whether to return. You learn why a friendly greeting, eye contact and clean surroundings already count as “selling.”

You then study basic sales techniques that do not feel pushy. The instructor shows how to ask questions, recommend suitable products or services, explain features and benefits in simple language and suggest add-on items that genuinely help the customer.

A full section deals with complaints and difficult situations: how to stay calm, listen properly, apologise where necessary and find fair solutions without giving away your whole profit. You also learn how to handle late customers, warranty issues and misunderstandings.

Communication skills are emphasised throughout, including tone of voice, body language and how to assist customers in both English and local languages. The course ends with tips on building loyalty: learning regulars’ names, running simple loyalty programmes and using WhatsApp groups or broadcasts to keep in touch.

By the end, you will have a personal “customer service style” and practical techniques that increase both customer satisfaction and sales.
